This section will go over the frequently asked questions about building an NMB custom keyboard:
Keycaps
Switches
PCB
Plate
See the following for all keycap information.
All keycaps work on all switches besides later ones work on Gundam and non clip switches. Generation 1-5 keycaps work on all switches after Gundams. This is due to there not being clips for the later keycaps to clip into the switch slider. Early generation one keycaps are friction mount and work on all switches.
Additionally, early keyboards in the Third Generation use LED switches for lock switches within the generation of keyboards. These switches are flipped via N/S and therefore, do not work with all Third Generation keycaps.
All switches have the same footprint except for locking switches. This is due to the click arm on the north side of the switch.

All plates need to be a maximum thickness of 1.4mm / 17 Gauge.
