MIPS

MIPS refers to MIPS Technologies, Inc also formerly MIPS Computer Systems, Inc. MIPS designed and produced processors. Later on the company was acquired by SGI(Silicon Graphics). Under SGI MIPS produced numerous processors for their own terminal computers and other brads under SGI. NMB was contracted to supply keyboards for one of their terminal systems.
