Symbolics

Overview

Symbolics was the company that acquired the Lips system and was the first available workstation. This included a very early version of the editor software emacs. The first workstation that came with branded keyboards was the 3600. Afterward, workstations came with different models of keyboards that were produced by many different OEMs including NMB.
